Rebecca M. J. Cuthbertson Hulst has a passion for Family Law. She has practiced in the area of Family Law since her call to the bar in 2003, and she has been a Registered Collaborative Family Lawyer since 2010. She continues to attend training several times each year to enhance her skills in the areas of Collaborative Law and Representation of Children, and she has been on the executive of the Canadian Bar Association Family Section since becoming a lawyer. She currently summarizes Caselaw for the CBA Family Section.
Rebecca was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where she graduated from Lakehead University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree with Minors in Gerontology and Occupational Ethics. She and her husband relocated to Edmonton so that she could attend the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta. At the U of A, Rebecca was honoured to receive the Harold Lawrence Howe Award for all three years of her Law degree.
Rebecca enjoys time with her family, her choir, and her Toastmasters groups. She is a long-time supporter of the Red Cross and Canadian Blood Services and was recently honoured for her 100th plasma donation.
